Research Polarizing Microscopes - LTPL 55 Series

Labtiger manufactures a broad range of Research Polarized light microscope LTPL-55 Series. The entire series comprises of ergonomically designed microscopes which are used globally by the geologists to study the optical properties of minerals. The range of laboratory polarizing microscopes LTPL-55 Series includes LTPL-55, LTPL-55B, LTPL-55T.

All the instruments in Research Polarizing Microscope LTPL-55 series are used to perform observations and experiments in large number of applications like crystallography, geology and petrography, ceramics, mineralogy, chemical microscopy, toxicology, in industrial laboratories and in semiconductors to detect the defects where highly reliable and practical polarizing microscopes are required for observations. Moreover, it is also used to measure the stress point in metals, textiles, and glasses, etc. It also allows the operators to identify orthroscopically and examine the structures of materials with highly resolved distinctive images under various magnifications.
  • Best to fulfill the requirements of material observation in a vast number of applications.

  • Easy to operate.

  • Offers highly accurate & reliable results.

  • The instrument comprises of a ball-bearing type compact rotating stage of diameter 140mm. The stage is duly graduated with the lock, vernier and stage specimen clips.

  • The device is supplied with some optional accessories on request like sub-stage halogen illuminator, detachable mechanical stage, micrometer eyepiece, additional compensators, spare bulbs, wooden storing cabinet, etc.

  • The device is equipped with Koehler’s illuminator with pre-centered 20W tungsten halogen light and internal electric transformer with the intensity control which is concealed inside the base. This requires the input voltage of 220V or 110V.

  • The instrument is provided with the fully rotatable polarizer on strain free abbe –condenser of iris diaphragm N.A. 1.25.

  • To move the stage vertically coarse adjustments are done by fine movement by screw lever mechanism and via rack pinion knobs.

  • Compensators - A gypsum plate (1st order a red compensating plate of 560 nanometers) and λ/4 – mica plate of size 145 nanometers.

  • Provide with inbuilt focusable Bertrand lens with center adjustable, an analyzer which can be removed from the optical part. This analyzer can be rotated with 90o with vernier readingto 6’.

  • The device is offered with stress less flat achromatic DIN objectives PF4x/0.10, PF10x/0.25 and PF40x/0.65 SL.

  • The instrument is designed with the wide field eyepiece lens with magnification HKW10x Paired and WF 10x with a cross.

Labtiger always provide the best machines Review by Sudha Pathak
Best, good, excellent, LTPL-55 series to check stress point in metals in a very effective way. I find it easy to use and best-focused microscope to verify the quality of my sample. I have also ordered the detachable mechanical stage, micrometer eyepiece, and substage halogen illuminator. These all accessories are very useful for the efficient testing procedure. Labtiger’s is a helpful site to know about the latest testing machine and equipment and I used to crawl their pages almost every day because I know something best is waiting for aiding my research work.
