Heat Sealer is a seal adhesion tester which is used to seal the flexible packaging material and thermoplastic films by applying pressure and high temperature. It evaluates the heat seal performance of packaging polymer films. The equipment complies with ASTM F 2029 testing standards. Equipped with a Microprocessor based display screen which accurately converts the testing results into digital values. The pressure application in controlled using pneumatic power which ensures zero chances of errors.

 

Besides, hassle-free operations with single push button to deliver the sealing command, the feather-touch buttons, allow the user to set test parameters in a defined way. The temperature and time are displayed on a bright LED screen. With strong heating jaws composed of EN 31 hard and temper material, Heat Sealer ensure perfect sealing conditions. The temperature for both upper and lower jaws can be set separately. Three types of jaws are offered to choose from – Diamond Knurled, plain or straight line. To further enhance the sealing, a guide rod mechanism is installed. PID temperature control program is set to deliver maximum control over the test condition and assure accurate repeatability.

The specimen to be tested is carefully placed between the jaws. To ensure that it doesn’t slip, it must be kept uniformly without any loops.
