Plastic material are often tested for evaluating its tensile strength and breaking strength. However, it is important to test the material based upon a specified standard accepted worldwide. In this case, use of Tensile testing machine with ASTM based standards is considered to be an ideal equipment.

 The test equipment is based on an advanced technology for conducting quality inspection test on plastic material, components or final product. Considered best for estimating the breaking strength of plastic using ASTM D412 based test standard. Beside this the equipment is also suitable for conducting tensile and compression test which are frequently practiced in Plastic industry. The machine’s working principle is Constant rate of Traverse (CRT). It is designed as per many other test standards such as ASTM D412, ASTM D429-73, ASTM D624, ATM D638-01, ASTM D76, IS 13360-5-7, and IS 3400(Part1-1987).

The sensor is featured with linearity feature and repeatability to conduct multiple test cycles at same specification given. Has a 700mm crosshead travel length (grip to grip), which is considered to be the ideal set up for precision testing. The tester is a single column machine with strong sample clamping grips.


To avoid over travel speed during test, safety limit switches are equipped in the machine. It will ensure that the travel must not cross the limit it is set for and deliver accurate test results. User can experience frictionless movements and noise free working with hardened lead screws installed. The load cells are calibrated by authorized NABL centres. The system operations and controls are based on Microprocessor program.

 Peak value during the test process can be recorded, and is automatically saved in the machine memory. Has a bright LED equipped digital display screen for test readout along with feather touch operational buttons.
